Selects the type of Packet Data Mode that is used for the current Conventional - Data Profile.

When Data Profile Type field is set to "Conventional & Broadband", this field must be set to "FNE"; otherwise, the CPS considers this selection to be invalid. |
When the Data Profile Type is set to "Conventional" or "Conventional & Broadband", and
when the radio is model / option capable.

FNE |
The radio communicates with the Fixed Network Equipment (the FNE is also referred to as the "System") on the repeater frequency programmed in the radio. |
Repeated |
The radio communicates with another radio through the repeater (i.e., on the repeater frequency programmed in the radio). |
Direct |
The radio communicates with another radio on the direct (or talkaround) frequency programmed in the radio. |
